Thulecraft Ltd T/A Sandisons are looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner Foreperson to join our team based in Unst, Shetland. We are seeking a reliable and hands-on individual who can lead by example, manage projects efficiently, and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Main Duties- Supervising and coordinating joinery teams on site
- Managing day-to-day site operations and workflow
- Planning and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Liaising with management, subcontractors, and clients
- Ordering and organising materials when required
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
- Assisting with joinery work where necessary
- Proven experience in joinery and site supervision
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
