Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Joiner Foreman role based in Unst, Shetland. The Joiner Foreman will work along with our joiners to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient execution of joinery tasks, including managing a team and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities include:
- The supervision of joinery projects
- Ensuring quality control
- Coordinating with other departments
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Prioritising clear communication with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong Supervisory Skills to manage teams effectively and oversee daily operations
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders
- Expertise in Carpentry for execution, repair, and installation tasks
- Experience in Maintenance to ensure tools and equipment are in good condition
- Commitment to workplace safety and ensuring a secure environment for all team members
- Prior experience as a foreman or relevant leadership role is advantageous
- A vocational certification or relevant qualification in joinery, construction, or a related field is preferred
