Bring your life
Want to help shape the people experience across both a manufacturing site and a commercial organization in Europe? At Thule, we believe our people are at the heart of what we do. Together, we create products that inspire an active life and help people bring what they love, wherever their adventures take them.
We are now looking for an HR Manager UK & HR Business Partner Commercial Europe to join our HR team. This is a broad role that combines local HR leadership for our Haverhill site with HR business partnering for a defined Commercial Europe region.
What you'll do at Thule
As HR Manager for our Haverhill site, you will lead and shape the local people agenda, serving as the key HR responsible for managers and employees across our manufacturing and distribution operations. You will provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle and ensure that HR processes and employee relations matters are managed in line with UK employment legislation.
Alongside your site responsibility, you will act as HR Business Partner for a defined Commercial Europe region. Working closely with leaders, you will support organizational development, workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership support, and change initiatives. You will also provide HR support to selected DTC and Retail leaders across Europe and contribute to selected global HR projects.
The role offers a combination of operational HR leadership and international business partnering, with the opportunity to work closely with leaders across different functions, countries, and cultures.
What you bring
To be successful in this role, we believe you have several years of broad HR experience, combining hands-on HR delivery with HR business partnering. You are comfortable supporting operational environments while also working closely with leaders on organizational, engagement, and development topics.
You have solid knowledge of UK employment law and experience handling employee relations matters with confidence and sound judgement. Experience from manufacturing, distribution, retail, or another people-intensive environment is an advantage, as is experience working within an international or matrix organization.
You are a trusted partner who builds strong relationships across the business. You communicate clearly, provide pragmatic advice, and are comfortable both supporting and constructively challenging leaders when needed.
As a person, you are approachable, proactive, and business-minded. You enjoy being visible in the organization, working closely with people, and finding practical solutions to a wide range of HR challenges. You are comfortable balancing operational priorities with longer-term people initiatives and know when to act independently, collaborate with others, or escalate when required.
Why you should join Thule
At Thule, we believe in strong teamwork both within your own team but also cross functional between teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another.
Within Thule you will find people who have a passion for the products we make and the outdoor company we are. We share the same values, and we like to have fun. All of our employees have a joint responsibility to maintain that spirit and contribute to it.
