The Role
As a Branch Stock Planner, you will support CPS and PTS branches to effectively manage stock at all times by monitoring branch stock replenishment orders to deliver our customer service level and stock holding objectives. These orders will be direct to suppliers and also placed on our main NDC warehouse in Warrington. You will set optimal replenishment parameters, query outliers with branches & PO authorisation checks & actions, maintain availability on National Core & Branch Select Ranges, branch Trigger & ROM monthly reviews, support PDH, DHS & Supplier range reviews and returns cleanse schedule. You will support Regional Stock Managers with new branch openings & closure branches replenishment set up and run down as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor branch stock replenishment orders in line with weeks cover targets, identify target branches requiring additional support, plan, report on, and train as required to manage stock value, and check and authorise manual branch purchase order requests via the Google Responses sheet.
- Regularly review Range Stock Availability reports; ensure branch compliance on Range stock availability and support branch teams in rectifying out‑of‑stock situations for core items.
- Conduct regular Trigger & ROM reviews in branches, working with branch teams to make any amendments where required.
- Manage range rollout and returns processes as required.
- Support launch of new branches as well as closures.
