THRYVE is looking for a bright, organised and ambitious person to join our Business Operations team. We’re open to appointing through either of two routes:

  • Apprenticeship: £20,000 per year, five days per week, including a fully funded Level 3 Business Administrator qualification
  • Permanent: £26,000 per year, with THRYVE’s full-time four-day working week

You might be at the beginning of your career, have already completed an apprenticeship or have some office experience and feel ready for your next step. We’re more interested in finding the right person than forcing the role into one route.

The role

You’ll work closely with Jazz, who leads Office Management and Marketing, and Gurjeet, who manages Compliance and Contracts. This is a varied, hands-on role covering business administration, team operations, marketing support and compliance. It would suit someone who enjoys variety while bringing structure, accuracy and follow-through to their work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and triaging shared company inboxes
  • Supporting candidate onboarding and collecting documentation
  • Uploading contracts and compliance paperwork to our CRM
  • Maintaining trackers and following up on outstanding actions
  • Chasing candidates and clients for signatures, terms and purchase orders
  • Supporting client credit checks
  • Adding vacancies to the THRYVE website
  • Helping to produce and update marketing materials
  • Supporting team events, incentives and celebrations
  • Managing office supplies, orders and supplier relationships
  • Supporting general administration, files and company records

As you develop, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of additional tasks and projects across the business.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to tick every box, but you should be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Mature, dependable and willing to take ownership
  • Professional and proactive in your communication
  • Comfortable learning and using systems, databases and spreadsheets
  • Confident following processes and chasing actions through to completion
  • Able to manage your workload without constant prompting
  • Curious, intelligent and eager to keep learning
  • Excited by challenges and prepared to get stuck in
  • Someone who genuinely wants to grow with an ambitious business

Previous experience in administration, compliance or using a CRM would be helpful, but it isn’t essential for the apprenticeship route.

What we offer

  • Meaningful responsibility and hands-on experience from the beginning
  • Broad exposure across operations, compliance, contracts and marketing
  • Direct support and mentoring from experienced team members
  • The opportunity to learn how an ambitious international business operates
  • Regular team events, incentives and celebrations
  • A close-knit, supportive working environment
  • Genuine scope to grow your role and career within THRYVE
  • A fully funded Level 3 qualification for apprenticeship applicants
  • A full-time four-day working week for permanent employees
