Your Role: As a Business Advisor (Thryv BDM), you will join a vibrant face-to-face (F2F) sales team focused on selling our innovative SaaS solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) across the region. This is a fast-paced, high-energy F2F sales position where success is measured by meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets. Based in Newcastle, this role will see you generating new business opportunities, building your own prospect list, and driving revenue growth through quick and efficient sales cycles. With a large component of F2F interaction with SMBs across the Trades and Services industry, this role will see you on the road daily. When you are not on the road meeting with business owners, you will benefit from working from home, setting appointments, allowing you to maximize your productivity and efficiency. This role is a Permanent Full-Time Position commencing on 6th August 2025, reporting to the Account Director.

Your Responsibilities: Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Face-to-Face sales meetings with potential clients.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Prospecting for new customers including appointment setting with potential customers.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to ensure that you are meeting your KPIs and targets.
  • Contacting and identifying business opportunities for growth & sales opportunities.
  • Understanding client needs and offering tailored SaaS solutions.
  • Driving your own mobile operating rhythm and managing your time effectively to generate results.

Ideal Candidate: To stand out as an applicant you would possess a demonstrated record of generating new business sales in a face-to-face role and meeting monthly sales targets. As you will be working remotely, without supervision, a high level of self-motivation, drive and desire to succeed is also highly regarded.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • A strong background and experience in face-to-face selling to small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Prospecting and self-generating new business opportunities.
  • History of successful sales performance in a commission-based environment.
  • Experience working in a highly transactional / shorter sales cycle role.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of success.
  • A hunter and driver mentality, constantly focused on meeting and exceeding monthly targets.
