ThruDark is recruiting a full-time Store Assistant to support the successful day-to-day operation of our Unit 4 retail store. As a Store Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering a premium customer experience while supporting the wider retail team to achieve store objectives. You'll represent the ThruDark brand on the shop floor, providing confident, hands-on service and helping maintain the high standards our customers expect. Working closely with the Retail Manager and wider team, you'll contribute to a positive store environment while embodying ThruDark's core values of Humility, Unity and Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming in-store experience
  • Confidently represent and promote the ThruDark brand and product range
  • Support the achievement of store sales targets and daily operational goals
  • Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards across the store
  • Assist with stock management, replenishment and inventory organisation
  • Handle customer questions, concerns and feedback professionally and efficiently
  • Operate POS systems accurately and follow all transactional processes
  • Support with opening and closing procedures where required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and legal requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the wider retail team to maintain a positive and high-performing environment

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability across weekends and bank holidays
  • Commercially aware with a strong understanding of customer experience
  • Confident using POS systems and retail technology
