Global Operations Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end operational function and ensure the business has the processes, systems and infrastructure required to support continued growth.
About the Role
The Global Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end operations across Thrivin's global business , working closely with the Founders and partnering with our Logistics, Planning, Production, Ecommerce and Finance teams.
This is a highly cross-functional role responsible for ensuring the operational engine behind the business runs efficiently, from production and inventory flow through to warehousing, fulfilment and delivery.
You'll bring visibility and structure across the entire operations function, identify risks and bottlenecks before they impact the business, and drive improvements that enable Thrivin to scale efficiently.
We're looking for someone who is strategic enough to see the bigger operational picture but hands-on enough to get into the detail when required.
You'll be a natural problem solver who brings structure to complexity, holds teams and external partners accountable, and is constantly looking for ways to make the business operate more efficiently.
Most importantly, you'll be comfortable working directly with the Founders and taking genuine ownership of the operational engine behind a rapidly scaling global brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across Thrivin's global business.
- Create visibility across the entire operational lifecycle, from production through to inventory, logistics, warehousing and fulfilment.
- Ensure operational priorities are aligned with commercial targets, product launches and wider business objectives.
- Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and dependencies and ensure issues are resolved proactively.
- Provide the Founders with regular reporting and visibility into operational performance, risks and priorities.
- Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight
- Work closely and lead the Logistics team to ensure the efficient movement of inventory across Thrivin's global supply chain.
- Oversee performance across freight, warehousing, 3PL and fulfilment partners.
- Ensure inventory moves efficiently from manufacturing partners through to global distribution centres.
- Support the Logistics team in managing operational challenges, capacity requirements and international expansion.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining strong service levels.
- Operational Excellence & Scalability
- Review existing operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and implement SOPs, processes and reporting structures across the operations function.
- Drive automation and systems improvements to reduce manual processes.
- Establish clear operational KPIs and use data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure operational infrastructure evolves alongside the company's growth.
- Inventory & Planning
- Partner closely with the Planning Lead to ensure inventory levels are aligned with demand forecasts, product launches and commercial plans.
- Ensure Planning, Production and Logistics teams remain aligned on purchase orders, production timelines and inbound stock.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a key operational partner to the Founders, translating business strategy into executable operational plans.
- Create strong alignment between Operations, Ecommerce, Finance, Product and Commercial teams.
- Coordinate operational readiness for product launches, promotions and peak trading periods.
- Manage and develop relationships with key external partners, suppliers and service providers.
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience across
Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or Ecommerce Operations , within a high-growth DTC business.
- Strong experience within fashion, apparel, activewear is a must
- Proven experience overseeing complex, international operations.
- Strong understanding of production, planning, international logistics, warehousing and ecommerce fulfilment .
- Experience working closely with Planning and Logistics teams.
- Experience managing 3PLs, warehouses, freight partners and/or other external operational partners.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to balance service, inventory and cost.
- Experience implementing operational processes, systems and automation within a scaling business.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with operational KPIs and data.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with significant autonomy
