Are you a Maintenance Electrician looking for a mobile role across the South West that pays for your travel time? A well-established Facilities Management company has recently secured a new contract within the commercial sector and is seeking electrically biased mobile maintenance engineers to cover commercial properties across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team, working across a portfolio of properties including offices, retail premises, MOD sites, and schools.
You will be responsible for all aspects of reactive electrical works, including some testing and inspection, while supporting other engineers on site.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, completing all associated paperwork
- Participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours cover
- Oversee visiting subcontractors, ensuring work standards and Health & Safety compliance
- Provide flexible support across multiple properties within the portfolio
- Complete all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted on time
- Work safely and diligently at all times, complying with Health & Safety policies
- Fully qualified Electrician
- Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing and Inspection experience desirable but not essential
- Experience in commercial environments
- Experience with Fire Alarm and Nurse Call systems
- HVAC knowledge advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
