Are you a fully qualified Electrician holding NVQ Level 3 and AM2, and looking for a new opportunity that offers door-to-door paid travel time? Our client operates across a wide range of commercial environments including schools, colleges, data centres and office buildings. Sites are primarily located across London, Berkshire, Surrey and Bedfordshire, with occasional work in Essex and Hertfordshire. As door-to-door travel is fully paid, travel time provides an excellent opportunity to increase earnings.
The Role: Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer covering London and the surrounding areas. The company is seeking an experienced Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities. You will be working across a variety of electrical systems, including associated central plant and controls. The ideal candidate will be confident reading electrical circuit diagrams, be computer literate, and capable of producing clear, concise technical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining electrical systems and HVAC equipment
- Working across a variety of commercial environments including education facilities, data centres, laboratories and retail premises
- Fault-finding and reactive maintenance
- Carrying out small installation works, including HVAC systems, lighting and electrical panels
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Qualification with AM2
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Desire to develop and progress within the company
