Are you a Maintenance Electrician looking for a new mobile role based in and around Bristol? A well-established regional Facilities Management company has recently secured a new contract within the commercial sector and is now looking to recruit several experienced, electrically biased mobile maintenance engineers to cover commercial properties across the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team working across a varied portfolio of sites. You will be responsible for delivering reactive electrical maintenance, along with some testing and inspection, and supporting other engineers on site when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown electrical works
- Complete all associated paperwork accurately and on time
- Participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours cover
- Oversee visiting subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to the required standard and in line with Health & Safety requirements
- Assist flexibly across other properties within the portfolio as needed
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, diligently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Comply fully with all Health & Safety policies and regulations
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician
- Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working in commercial environments
- HVAC knowledge advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
