Are you a Level 3 qualified Electrician looking for a new mobile role based in or around Bristol, willing to cover the South West (M5 & M4 corridor) and looking for a new mobile role which pays for your travel time? This large FM company has recently won a new contract within the commercial sector. They are looking for a number of experienced electrically biased mobile electricians to cover reactive maintenance, remedial works, and testing and inspection on commercial properties across the South West region. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an established team working on a portfolio of properties across the region.
You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical works on a reactive basis, including some testing and inspection as well as assisting with other tasks and engineers on site. Some of these sites are offices, retail, MOD, and schools. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of electrical works both planned and reactive, knowledge of Fire Alarms, Nurse Call Systems, as well as statutory compliance testing.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:- Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
- Be on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover.
- Overseeing visiting sub-contractors with regards to the standard of work and Health and Safety.
- Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
- Carry out work safely and diligently.
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Fully qualified Electrician level 3 (AM2 desirable).
- 17th Edition or 18th edition (Testing and Inspection desirable but not essential).
- Experience working within commercial environments.
- Fire Alarm and Nurse call system experience.
- HVAC Knowledge advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driving License.
