Domestic Gas Engineer Covering Bristol area only £40K plus bonuses OTE £48-50k Company Van Are you a Domestic Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer looking to work for a company that have a great culture and look after their staff. This role is working for a Bristol based Heating Company that provides Service, Maintenance and new Installations of Heating systems to both domestic properties across Bristol only. On top of your basic wage you will be rewarded with bonuses for exceeding the basic number of jobs in a day, for example an additional £20-30 extra a day for 1 extra service of repair. Most engineers working for this company are earning an additional £5-10k per annum. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Carry out Serving and reactive maintenance on all types of boilers and heating systems. Complete Gas Safety inspections and gas appliance servicing as per manufactures instruction at private and social housing properties Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety procedures' all relevant industry standards (including basic risk assessments), whilst completing all work in line with manufactures recommendations and company procedures A flexible approach to working hours working overtime to when required, and being part of an out of hours call out rota compulsory) to meet customer expectations. Responsible for managing company vehicle, including its cleanliness (inside and out) and van stock levels. Experience: Qualified in domestic heating systems, fault finding and central heating controls with a proven track record and able to demonstrate a high level of customer service whilst treating customers properties with respect. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Accredited Certification Scheme including, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 Essential system controls, electrics, and basic heating wiring knowledge. General IT skills, the candidate will be required to complete documentation related to work activities, which may include the use of an iPad. Clean driving license.
