Fractional Social Media Manager in Brighton

Fractional Social Media Manager in Brighton

Brighton Full-Time On-site
T

Grassroots clubs and children's activity providers bring communities together. They inspire young people, build confidence and resilience, and give families a sense of belonging.

Thrive4 helps them do more of what they do best. Our platform supports the day-to-day running of their organisations, helping them manage admin and payments, support volunteers, stay on top of compliance and grow participation. We combine this with learning, resources and shared experience to help them build the confidence and skills to thrive.

Based in a modern, open-plan office at Brighton Marina, beside the busy yacht harbour, we help clubs and activity providers run better and make a bigger impact in their communities.

The role

We're looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media Manager to help more organisations discover Thrive4 and get value from what we offer. You'll take ownership of our organic social channels, turning our expertise, customer stories and marketing activity into content that informs, engages and builds trust.

This is a hands-on, fractional role combining planning, content creation and performance analysis. You'll have room to shape our social presence, working closely with colleagues across marketing and customer enablement.

Working pattern: 20 hours per week

What you'll do

  • Plan and manage organic social activity around our audiences, campaigns and business priorities.
  • Create, adapt and publish engaging content, bringing customer stories, practical advice, product updates and events to life.
  • Work with our Demand Generation Manager to extend campaign reach and attract interest from relevant prospects.
  • Partner with our Enablement Marketing Manager to promote learning, resources and community activity, encouraging customers to take part and share their experiences.
  • Support acquisition experiments, creating content variants and sharing what we learn from audience responses.
  • Listen to sector conversations, engage with relevant voices and pass customer questions, feedback and opportunities to the right colleagues.
  • Use AI confidently across research, content creation and analysis, applying your own judgement to keep content accurate and on brand.
  • Track performance and share clear, practical recommendations that improve our content and its contribution to wider goals.
  • Plan and deliver practical social media workshops as part of our Growth & Marketing education series, helping clubs and children's activity providers build confidence, reach new audiences and grow participation.

What you'll bring

  • Experience planning and delivering organic social activity that supports business and customer goals.
  • Strong copywriting and creative skills, with the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
  • A hands-on approach, from generating ideas to scheduling posts and reviewing results.
  • Practical experience using AI tools and turning performance data into useful improvements.
  • Good judgement, initiative and the organisation to make a fractional role work well.

Experience in B2B, SaaS, membership organisations, sport, children's activities or purpose-led businesses would be helpful, but isn't essential.

What success looks like

A growing, relevant audience that engages with Thrive4, stronger awareness and trust, and social activity that helps people discover our platform, join learning and community activities, and take meaningful next steps. You'll also bring useful insight into which messages and formats work best.

You'll own our social channels and organic performance, collaborating with colleagues who lead demand campaigns, acquisition testing and the community.
