One You Surrey is an integrated healthy lifestyle service that delivers free stop smoking support and adult weight management programmes to people in Surrey. This role will be a hybrid role and will involve a combination of working in our community-based Stop Smoking clinics and delivering remote telephone support from home.
A typical day as a Stop Smoking Advisor might include:
- Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to help people quit for good.
- Delivering both face-to-face and remote stop smoking clinics and working with clients on a one-to-one basis to support their quit attempt.
- Working with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to help improve patient uptake and meet targets.
- Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients using our policies and procedures.
- Working with colleagues across Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments.
- Ensuring due consideration of Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.
- Helping to maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and embedding our values.

Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months (subject to continued funding), Full-Time (37.5 hours). Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as part of contracted working hours would be desirable.
Salary: Starting at £24,785 per annum

Location: This job is based across Surrey. The role will consist of a combination of face-to-face clinic delivery across GP and community venues (mileage is paid), and remote home working. The role requires applicants to be a car driver and have access to a car for this role.
