We’re looking for a Partnerships & Engagement Officer to join our Smokefree Hampshire service.

Smokefree Hampshire is a smoking cessation service, which supports residents to quit smoking, vaping or nicotine use through a flexible, free 12-week programme, combining behavioural support with Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). As we enter our second year, and with exciting plans in the pipeline, we’re looking for a Partnership & Engagement Officer to join us. A typical day as a Partnerships & Engagement Officer might include:

  • Being the point of contact for email enquiries from external partners.
  • Building partnerships with external organisations and colleagues in Primary and Secondary care to diversify current pathways, improve client uptake and meet targets by reaching new client groups.
  • Supporting with all aspects of Primary and Secondary care engagement.
  • Securing, organising and attending outreach and community events in line with the needs of the organisation and identified strategies.
  • Managing and maintaining printed resources and ensuring they are used effectively to promote our service.
  • Assisting in triaging clients into our service as required.
  • Attending regular networking and outreach events and relevant healthcare professional meetings to share information about the service and programmes.
  • Generating and sharing service performance feedback, referral and outcome data with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Working together with internal and external stakeholders to develop bespoke content and resources to aid delivery of partnership and engagement activity.
  • Administrative tasks to support the delivery of partnership and engagement activity.
  • Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments.
  • Ensuring due consideration is given to our Safeguarding, Information Governance and Clinical Governance policies and procedures.
  • Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

To work with us in this role you will need to have some knowledge or experience in networking, referral generation and/or partnership management, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches on how to engage those experiencing them into health promotion services.

We are looking for an outstanding Partnership & Engagement Officer, working across Hampshire. If you have built pre-existing partnerships within the health and wellbeing sector across Hampshire, then we’d love to hear from you!

Contract: 1.0FTE (37.5 hours), permanent

Salary: £25,397

Closing Date: 11 June 2026

Location: Although the role involves working remotely, travel to stakeholder meetings and engagement activities are critical to this role. Therefore, being located within Hampshire is an essential requirement for this role. The successful candidate may also be required to drive our mobile surgery van from time to time, and so a clean, UK driving licence is also required.
