Join us in our mission to support and champion any man worldwide who wants to win his battle against fat and get healthier! MAN v FAT is an award winning, innovative men’s health provider that operates three programmes, MAN v FAT Rugby, MAN v FAT Soccer and MAN v FAT Football. Our programmes are exclusively for overweight and obese men to improve their physical and mental health. Launched in 2016 by male weight loss specialists, MAN v FAT Football & Rugby appeal to men who love their sport and want to improve their health. The unique part about these leagues is that the competition is decided not only on points won, but pounds lost!
The programmes have been hugely successful with players losing over nearly one million pounds in excess weight since we launched in January 2016 - this has led to the English and Welsh FA's, English RFU and Sport England endorsing our work and supporting the programme. We now have over 160 Rugby and Football leagues across the UK and 20 MAN v FAT Soccer Leagues across four States in the US.
We are looking for a dedicated Area Clubs Coordinator who will be a key member of the MAN v FAT Operations team. The role would suit an individual who shares our passion to improve men’s health and has expertise in delivering a consistent and high quality approach to initiatives across multiple sites as well as working closely with community partners. The role will work closely with a National Clubs Manager to ensure the smooth running of MAN v FAT Football & Rugby leagues in the UK.
What a typical week of an Area MAN v FAT Club Coordinator might look like:
- Supporting the ongoing development of training, resources and delivery to ensure the support offered is in line with player expectations.
- Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are adhered to across our league Network. This includes regular Quality Assurance visits to ensure compliance in aspects of Health & Safety and player support is delivered to an exceptional standard.
- Being a first port of call for your clubs Coaches – ensuring the highest quality delivery at clubs and supporting them in day to day queries.
- Attending MAN v FAT monthly meetings to input into the day to day running of MAN v FAT.
- Liaising with your National Club Manager to ensure each league in your region is operating at maximum capacity and governing a RAG system to drive all leagues towards max capacity.
- Overseeing cover requirements for your leagues, including Referee’s and the Assistant Coach roles where appropriate.
- Taking ownership of the disciplinary process at a localised league level, reviewing other regions disciplinaries and escalating where necessary Level 2 breaches to local FA’s.
- Comply with Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance within all our operations.
- Representing MAN v FAT at stakeholder events and for media enquiries when required.
- Directly managing the Broadcast WhatsApp groups, including the sharing of MAN v FAT related content.
- Helping maintain the ethos of MAN v FAT by driving our organisational culture forward across our clubs and using every opportunity to embed our values.
