One You Surrey is an integrated healthy lifestyle service that delivers free stop smoking support and adult weight management programmes to people in Surrey.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Stop Smoking Advisor working in our community‐based Stop Smoking clinics within Farnham and the surrounding area. Our programme is designed to support residents of Surrey to access the support they need to stop smoking. This can be done through a number of approaches and will include the supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT). Combining this, with digital, remote or face‐to‐face appointments with Stop Smoking Advisors to support individuals to ensure their quit attempt is successful.
Typical day
- Deliver evidence‐based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers to quit for good.
- Attend face‐to‐face stop smoking clinics within Farnham and the wider borough of Waverley.
- Work with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to help improve patient uptake and meet targets.
- Ensure an excellent and safe experience for clients using our policies and procedures.
- Work with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments.
- Ensure due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.
- Help us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values.

Contract
Fixed‐term for 12 months (subject to continued funding), Part Time (16 hours).
Salary
Starting at £9,568 (£22,500 FTE) with a salary band increase per year, rising to £25,000 FTE.

Location
This role is community–based and will require regular travel to stop smoking clinics in Farnham and the surrounding area. When not working in the community there will be some home‐based working. The role requires applicants to be a car driver and have access to a car for this role.
