Thrive Tribe delivers award‑winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes across South London. We seek passionate health coaches (or Diabetes Prevention Practitioners) to improve lives by empowering people to make effective long‑term changes that halt or reverse the progression of Type 2 diabetes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based 2‑hour group sessions on diet, nutrition, physical activity and behaviour change.
- Facilitate group sessions in community venues across South London, supporting participants to achieve goals in a safe and positive environment.
- Engage in ongoing training such as Behaviour Change Levels 1 and 2.
- Work towards criteria and targets set by the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) quality assurance framework, including clinical governance procedures.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, including information governance, safeguarding and complaints procedures.
- Help maintain Thrive Tribe’s ethos by driving organisational culture forward and embedding our values.

- Bonus: qualification in a health promotion related subject such as nutrition, exercise or health coaching.
- Desirable: fluency in Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Urdu, Spanish or British Sign Language.
- Knowledge of behaviour change, NDPP framework and quality assurance.
Working Pattern
The role requires a varied and flexible working pattern, including evenings and/or weekend work.
Contract
Hourly paid, sessional contract. Minimum 12 hours per week, with potential to take on more. Each session is face‑to‑face in community venues across South London.
Salary
£14.24 – £19.51 per hour.
Location
This is a hybrid‑remote role. No office base – some home working with regular travel across South London. Candidates must be based in South London.
