Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based interventions focusing on smoking cessation, behaviour change, and psychological support to help smokers quit permanently.
- Provide stop‑smoking clinics in hospital emergency department settings and telephone appointments, working with clients on both an individual and group basis.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and Secondary Care colleagues to improve patient uptake and meet target metrics.
- Engage members of the public in the emergency department to raise awareness of available smoking‑cessation support.
- Ensure an excellent and safe experience for clients, in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Complete role‑specific training such as NCSCT Stop Smoking, Behaviour Change Level 1 and 2.
- Partner with colleagues across all Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments.
- Adhere to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements, and guidance.
- Support Thrive Tribe’s ethos by promoting organisational culture and embedding core values across services.

- Desirable: delivery experience supporting clients to adopt healthy lifestyle choices.
- Full training for the role will be provided; prior completion of NCSCT Stop Smoking Advisor training is a bonus.
