At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and well-being programmes that make people happier and healthier! We’re looking for a Community Outreach Officer to One You East Sussex. This role will consist of working with communities across East Sussex, ensuring strong partnership working and delivery of overall One You East Sussex targets.
If you have strong people skills this role could be for you. The post will involve a significant amount of work within East Sussex, which could include design work, Google adverts, stakeholder newsletters, and content across our social media platforms. You will work with the Service’s leads to develop and deliver plans and campaigns to promote the service and ensure adequate activity levels. You will also collaborate with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!

We’re looking for someone with a bubbly personality who thrives on engaging with members of the public as well as stakeholders. You will have a good understanding of health inequalities; bonus points if you have experience of engaging with priority groups! However, we hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience, so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!

Contract: Fixed Term – 1 year contract, Part time (0.8 FTE, 4 days to be negotiated but must include a Thursday), extension may be possible depending on future funding
Salary: £24,784 (This will be pro rata down for the 0.8 FTE role)
