A growing Fire Protection specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to support a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across the UK. The business specialises in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire protection systems including sprinkler systems, gaseous suppression, water mist, and integrated fire safety solutions. The Role
- Designing fire sprinkler systems in line with relevant industry standards
- Producing layouts, drawings, and hydraulic calculations
- Coordinating with project managers, clients, and contractors
- Supporting projects from concept through to installation
- Attending design and coordination meetings where required
- Ensuring compliance with LPC, FM, and BS EN standards
- Supporting wider suppression and fire protection projects where required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Designer
- Strong understanding of sprinkler design standards
- Experience using AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software
- Knowledge of LPC / FM / BS EN standards
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Experience with gas suppression water mist systems and or fire detection would be advantageous but is not essential.
