Salary £38‑42k based on 40 hours (overtime available). Mobile across the M4 Corridor. We are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing team. The role will cover sites from Swindon to London, with most days in Swindon, Reading, Oxford, Newbury, Basingstoke, and Slough. Location: Ideally based in or around Swindon, Reading, or Slough.
Role Responsibilities
- Routine water hygiene tasks in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274.
- Cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning & disinfection.
- Tank and system disinfections (including chlorination works).
- Temperature monitoring, sampling & reporting.
- TMV servicing and general system checks.
- Closed system cleans, dosing and analysis.
- Servicing and maintenance of water softeners and reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
- Maintaining accurate records using job management systems.
Key Experience (Preferred)
- Strong background in water hygiene.
- Experience with water softeners and RO systems (installation, servicing, fault finding).
- Experience with tank disinfections and closed system works.
- Basic understanding of pumps/booster sets (advantage but not essential).

Requirements
- Previous experience in water hygiene (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of compliance and safe systems of work.
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally stay away.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
