Are you an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer with experience with ammonia, looking to take the next step in your career with one of the leading companies in the built environment? We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role involves working across a range of industrial environments, including food factories, regional distribution centres (RDCs), and warehouses, on a variety of refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out maintenance and service visits on a range of refrigeration equipment, including Reciprocating, Scroll, and Screw compressor packs.
- Work on installations using Ammonia, COâ‚‚, and HFC / HFO systems.
- Provide reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours and support an out-of-hours standby rota.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure service excellence.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all engineering tasks.
- Operate in line with industry best practices and all relevant legislation.
- Proven experience in the industrial refrigeration sector with strong knowledge of customer expectations and industry standards.
- Recognised qualifications including F-Gas (Category 1 - 2079), ACRIB, and Ammonia Handling certification.
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship or training programme in Industrial Refrigeration.
- Solid experience with maintenance and servicing of medium to large-scale refrigeration systems.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, particularly on compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
