This regional Engineering Services company based in Bristol is currently looking to add to their team due to an increase in testing jobs from a brand-new contract/client. Working for this company will offer you not only a good basic wage but also give you the flexibility to manage your own day, as well as time out to complete paperwork either in the office or at home.
As a company, they feel it is important to allow you time to catch up on paperwork as this needs to be done correctly. They believe that asking you to do this after the job in your van can cause mistakes; therefore, you will be allowed to work either in the office or at home 1 day per week to complete paperwork ensuring all is done correctly. You will work on a mobile basis from home, managing your jobs for the day. You will work across a portfolio of commercial properties including offices and some retail sites, dealing with all aspects of testing and inspection of reactive, remedial and small minor works projects, as well as your annual monthly testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Inspecting & Testing on customer’s electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
- Completing all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing using cloud-based certification software.
- Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
The Role:
- Carrying out Fixed Wire and Periodic Inspections.
- 40 Hours per week.
- Mobile works across the south of England (M4).
The Person:
- Fully qualified Electrician.
- Testing and Inspection certificate 2391, 2394/5 or EAL equivalent.
- 18th Edition – desirable.
- UK Drivers License.
Package:
- £45k basic negotiable depending on experience.
- Van, Fuel Card and Personal use policy.
- Travel paid.
- Company Credit card for all expenses.
