We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing facilities maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all assets are maintained safely and efficiently.

This role would suit an organised and proactive engineer with strong fault-finding skills and previous experience in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems and associated plant.
  • Respond to breakdowns and fault-find on building systems.
  • Maintain HVAC systems and environmental conditions.
  • Complete service reports and compliance documentation using simPRO.
  • Respond to BMS alarms and carry out first-line diagnostics.
  • Carry out plant checks, shutdowns, and changeovers.
  • Complete small installation and repair works.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and subcontractors.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and overtime when required.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical discipline.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical discipline.
  • 18th Edition qualified.
  • Experience fault finding on commercial M&E systems.
  • Strong understanding of safe electrical working practices.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
  • BS2391 Inspection & Testing
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • PASMA / IPAF
  • Unvented Hot Water Systems
