Overview
Are you an NVQ Level 3 Electrician with AM2 looking for a mobile role covering Bristol and the surrounding regions? This opportunity is with a Bristol‑based electrical company that handles planned and reactive work, as well as small and minor installations for commercial properties within an hour of Bristol. Sites include offices, retail, hospitality and some MOD/Government properties (BDS required for MOD and Government sites).
Responsibilities
- Planned maintenance – emergency light and fire alarm testing
- Reactive maintenance – power and lighting faults
- Small and minor works installations within existing buildings (no site work)
- Travel to and from sites by van (door‑to‑door travel paid)
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrician with AM2
- Minimum 5 years of experience, or 2391 testing
- Knowledge of BDS for MOD/Government sites
Earnings
- Standard shift: 40 hours on site + 30‑minute minimum travel each way = 45 hours paid at normal rate, with 5 hours at overtime 1×1.5 (Mon‑Fri)
- Saturday PM & Sunday overtime (double bubble)
- On‑call 1 in 6‑8 weeks – £100 per week + minimum 4 hours paid at overtime rate if called out
- Annual base to take-home: £41,990 – £49,140 (subject to actual hours)
