Sales Engineer – Water Mist Systems \\nNationwide Travel \\nĀ£60,000 – Ā£62,000 + Company Vehicle \\n25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Private Medical Scheme\\n Ā \\n Are you a Sales Engineer with experience in water mist systems looking for a new opportunity with a well-established company launching a new division?\\n Ā \\n We are currently working with a market-leading company that delivers complex fire protection and security solutions. They design, supply, install, test, and maintain a wide range of systems, including sprinklers, gas suppression, fire detection, and integrated security.\\n Ā \\n In this role, you will take the lead in managing the sales and proposal process for new water mist project enquiries allocated to you. You will assess project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and collaborate with internal team members to deliver comprehensive proposals.

You will have a strong understanding of sprinkler/water mist systems, coupled with excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.\\n Ā \\n Responsibilities:\\n \\nReview and respond to incoming enquiries, updating the CRM system accordingly. \\nReview and develop technical specifications and prepare proposals in line with customer deadlines. \\nAnalyse customer specifications, drawings, BOQs and project documents to produce accurate quotations.

\\nLiaise with Design Engineers, Project Managers and senior leadership to gather technical input for bids. \\nAssess financial and technical risks associated with each project. \\nProduce and submit quotations to clients.

\\nFollow up on submitted quotations to gather feedback and update win/loss KPIs and lessons learned. \\nBuild strong customer relationships through email, phone and site visits to support satisfaction and identify new opportunities. Ā \\n Skills & Qualifications\\n \\nStrong technical experience in sprinkler or water mist system design, including reading construction drawings and technical specifications (essential).

\\nProven experience preparing technical quotations or bids (essential). \\nGood understanding of construction programmes, building regulations, industry standards and legislation (essential). \\nCommercially aware with strong numerical ability (essential).

\\nPrevious experience in a sales or estimating role within the fire protection industry (essential). \\nExcellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities (essential). \\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy (essential).

\\nStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD viewer is desirable. \\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team (essential). \\nConfident, personable and able to represent the business professionally with clients (essential).
