A leading further education provider in Plymouth is seeking a Head of Management Information Systems (MIS), Timetabling & Admissions to lead three high-performing teams and shape the college’s digital and operational future.
Location: Plymouth | Salary: £62,830 per annum | Hours: 37 hours per week | Employment: Permanent | Role: Full-time | Leadership: Senior Level
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing MIS, Timetabling, and Admissions teams.
- Oversee all student data and statutory funding returns (ESFA, HESA, OfS).
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness across systems.
- Drive automation, innovation, and digital transformation to improve efficiency.
- Deliver high-quality timetables and a first-class admissions experience.
- Develop and embed analytics and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) and a strong educational background.
- Significant experience managing MIS or data systems in a complex organisation.
- Deep understanding of FE funding, reporting, and compliance.
- Proven leadership in timetabling, admissions, and reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and people management skills.
- Knowledge of ProSuite (ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProPortal) desirable.
