Job Description: Warehouse AM Supervisor (Temp to Perm) Location: York, YO30 Pay Rate: £15.87 per hour Hours: 40 per week Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Saturday, 03:00 – 11:30 Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent About the Role Thrive Personnel are working with our client in the parcel sorting industry, who are seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse AM Supervisor to join their team in York (YO30). This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking to take the next step in their career with a respected logistics business. The role offers responsibility for leading early morning warehouse operations, ensuring all targets and service levels are achieved. Key Responsibilities * Supervise morning parcel sorting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operatives. * Carry out shift handovers, reporting, and system updates. * Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly and on time for dispatch. * Monitor performance and ensure health & safety compliance at all times. * Liaise with management and other departments to resolve any issues quickly. Requirements * Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume operation. * Good IT and organisational skills. * Flexible approach with strong problem-solving ability.
