Upholsterer Bradford

Thrive Personnel are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our client\’s team in Bradford.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Friday: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

Hourly rate: £12.50 – £14.00 dependent on experience, plus production bonus.

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and sew fabrics and materials according to specifications.

Re-upholster furniture, including chairs, sofas and other items, using various techniques.

Repair and replace damaged components, such as springs and padding.

Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their vision and requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Utilize hand and powered tools effectively and safely.

Keep track of inventory and materials needed for projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an upholsterer or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of upholstery techniques and materials.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
