Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking to recruit a QA Supervisor to join our client South Elmsall.
Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive QA Supervisor to work in our client's Quality Assurance team, supporting the QA Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the QC Team, addressing QC issues and workloads.
- Ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Investigate and document issues with products failing QC, reporting findings to relevant personnel.
- Conduct technical training and refresher sessions for the QC team.
- Oversee GMP, CCP, Line audits, and Glass and Brittle Plastics audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Provide cover and support for QC staff as needed.
- Deputise for the QA Manager when required.
- Support the implementation of new processes in line with FSQMS and customer requirements.
- Assist with validations and verifications.
- Complete environmental and product testing, including swabbing and claim validations.
- Support during second- and third-party audits.
- Investigate complaints via the non-conformance process.
- Build strong relationships with wider teams.
- Fulfil duties of absent QA team members to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Comply with Health and Safety policies, reporting any breaches.
- Perform other duties as required by Management.
This is a permanent role, working Sunday to Thursday. Hourly rate of pay £14.10ph.
