Thrive Personnel are looking for an experienced Food Production Supervisor, with experience of quality control.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Set up production lines for an efficient start, including machinery setup.
- Ensure the line and machinery operate safely throughout the shift.
- Foster a positive team environment and motivate your team.
- Work with the shift manager to optimize team utilization.
- Complete necessary paperwork (pre-operation checks, product changeovers, etc.).
- Actively solve problems and promote continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Products meet customer specifications (sealing, labeling, packaging, weights).
- Maximize line efficiency to achieve daily production plans.
- Manage, assist, and train the team to reach their potential.
- Complete paperwork accurately.
- Maintain accurate yield monitoring and report anomalies.
- Ensure departmental health & safety awareness.
- Maintain clear communication with all relevant teams and departments.
- Troubleshoot line efficiencies, stock control, staffing, and training issues.
What We're Looking For:
