Thrive Personnel are looking for an experienced Food Production Supervisor, with experience of quality control.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Set up production lines for an efficient start, including machinery setup.
  • Ensure the line and machinery operate safely throughout the shift.
  • Foster a positive team environment and motivate your team.
  • Work with the shift manager to optimize team utilization.
  • Complete necessary paperwork (pre-operation checks, product changeovers, etc.).
  • Actively solve problems and promote continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Products meet customer specifications (sealing, labeling, packaging, weights).
  • Maximize line efficiency to achieve daily production plans.
  • Manage, assist, and train the team to reach their potential.
  • Complete paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain accurate yield monitoring and report anomalies.
  • Ensure departmental health & safety awareness.
  • Maintain clear communication with all relevant teams and departments.
  • Troubleshoot line efficiencies, stock control, staffing, and training issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in setting up production areas for optimal performance.
  • Ability to coach and train others.
  • Experience in production and production systems/processes.
  • Production qualification (or relevant) is a plus.
