We're looking for a skilled and reliable Reach FLT Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. In this role, you'll be key to our warehouse operations, safely moving materials using a Reach Forklift Truck and performing various general warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Reach Forklift Truck for loading, unloading, and moving goods within the warehouse.
- Accurately stack and retrieve pallets from high racking locations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift checks on the FLT and report any maintenance issues.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid and in-date Reach Forklift Truck license/certification.
- Proven experience operating a Reach FLT in a busy warehouse environment.
- Solid understanding of general warehouse practices and safety procedures.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving items when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience with other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) like Counterbalance or PPT.
This is a long term temporary position with an opportunity to go perm.
