Thrive personnel are currently looking to recruit an experienced Furniture Sprayer for our clients late shift, working a 4 day week Monday to Thursday 3.30pm - 1.30am.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare furniture surfaces for finishing, including sanding, filling, and cleaning.
- Mix paints and coatings to specified viscosities.
- Apply primers, sealers, stains, and topcoats using spray guns and other equipment.
- Monitor paint flow, pressure, and application techniques to ensure consistent coverage and finish quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, drips, or blemishes, and rework as necessary.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment, including guns, hoses, and booths.
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete production paperwork and records accurately.
- Work independently and efficiently during the late shift hours.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a paint sprayer, preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
