Thrive Personnel are seeking a motivated and dynamic Internal Sales Person to join our client, a leading builders merchant in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new business development, growing existing accounts and maximising profit share; managing customer enquiries, processing orders and providing excellent customer service, whilst promoting a range of timber/building products. This is an interesting and varied role with the ability to quickly progress to Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound sales calls to existing and potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and contributing to overall company growth.
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively advise customers.
  • Assisting in managing inventory and reporting any stock issues to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the timber or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software is a plus.
