Thrive Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) charger supply and installation company, operating nationwide. Specializing in providing comprehensive EV charging solutions. We are currently looking for Installations engineers based across Scotland (all locations).

General Job Description:

  • Installation of new circuits for EV charging points in commercial and domestic environments, adhering to BS7671 18th edition standards.
  • Conducting initial verification of electrical installations and completing necessary Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates.
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with existing EV Charging Installations in both Commercial and Domestic settings, with appropriate documentation.
  • Performing routine maintenance and testing on EV Charging circuits to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.
  • Conducting site surveys to determine optimal cable routes and installation methods for new EV Charging circuits.
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship in line with company standards, building regulations, and safety protocols.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Qualifications required: 18th Edition certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • C&G Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred).
  • EV Charging 2919 certification (preferred).

The ideal candidate will:

  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Possess previous EV Installation experience.
  • Communicate clearly with management and support teams.
