Thrive Personnel Ltd are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Assembler to join our clients production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling furniture components using hand and power tools, with a strong focus on quality and precision. You will be responsible for constructing furniture according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of craftsmanship. Responsibilities: Assemble furniture components, including frames, panels, drawers, and hardware, using hand and power tools. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly. Measure, cut, and shape materials to precise dimensions. Inspect finished products for quality, identifying and correcting defects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet daily targets. Operate and maintain hand and power tools, including saws, drills, routers, sanders, and pneumatic nail guns. Ensure that all materials and components are properly stored and handled. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Participate in quality control inspections and identify areas for improvement. Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns. Adhere to production schedules and deadlines. Continuously improve assembly techniques and processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience as a furniture assembler or similar role. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials. Knowledge of different types of wood, hardware, and adhesives. Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent. This is a temp to perm role with opportunity for prgression and additional training
