Food Production Supervisor

Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Food Production Supervisor for a leading manufacturing business based in Hudderfield. The main responsibilities of the role are: Enter operational data into internal systems on a daily basis. Organize staffing schedules, manage holiday requests, and handle general HR administrative tasks. Facilitate recruitment for operational staff needs. Conduct orientations for new operational team members. Provide coaching and training support to operational staff. Immediately report any food quality or safety concerns to the Technical Department. Oversee equipment usage, maintenance, modifications, and procurement. Take charge of Health and Safety initiatives, leading meetings and promoting continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulations. Assist in the execution of cleaning and hygiene protocols. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address gaps and improvements. Work with other managers to create and implement strategies for workplace enhancement. Support the Operations Manager in managing the operational area. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with operational staff. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Level 3 certification. HACCP Level 2 qualification. IOSHH Health and Safety certification. Relevant experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
