Assembly Operative

Thrive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives, to work in a woodworking manufacturing facility in Leeds.

Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various types of wooden fittings, ensuring quality and accuracy in every project. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

– Read and interpret assembly diagrams, blueprints, and instructions.

– Assemble furniture components using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

– Inspect parts for defects or damages and report any issues to the supervisor.

– Ensure all parts fit correctly and the final product meets quality standards.

– Maintain a clean and organized work area.

– Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.

– Assist with loading and unloading items as needed.

– Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.

– Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams.

– Proficient in using hand and power tools.

– Strong attention to detail and quality.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

– Excellent problem-solving skills.
