We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IDMC Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) services. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud integration, mapping design, and process optimisation, as well as a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Development Implementation: Design, develop, and implement robust data integration solutions utilising Informatica IDMC services including Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
- Mapping Workflow Design: Build efficient and reusable mappings, task flows, and process objects in accordance with best practices to ensure optimal performance and maintainability.
- Integration with Cloud SaaS: Develop and implement integrations with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, and modern data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
- Troubleshooting Optimisation: Perform comprehensive debugging, error handling, and optimisation of data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
- Collaboration Documentation: Collaborate closely with solution architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Ensure thorough and clear documentation of all implementations and processes.
- Quality Compliance: Adhere strictly to data governance frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on years of overall experience in ETL Data Integration.
- Years of experience with Informatica IDMC or IICS.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC including CDI and CAI modules.
- Strong expertise in designing mappings, task flows, and process objects for data integration projects.
- Proven track record of integrating with major cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP, SaaS applications, and data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise complex data pipelines.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Sound understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
