Our client is looking for an SAP Technical Consultant in London/Worthing. The SAP Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting technical components within SAP systems. They work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions using ABAP, integration tools, and related SAP technologies.
Location: London or Worthing
Contract Type: Long-term contract
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Security Clearance which means BPSS and the higher SC level clearance
- S4 will be in the SAP Sovereign Cloud (SAP run and contracted, hosted by AWS)
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP (Reports, Enhancements, OOP ABAP)
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, and OData (optional but preferred)
- Understanding of SAP HANA database features (SQL, AMDP, performance tuning)
- Experience with integration technologies (IDoc, CPI, PI/PO)
- Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, PP)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in Agile/Waterfall environments
- Team player with ability to guide junior developers
