Location: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire (field based).
Salary: ÂŁ42,206.80 per annum plus company van, fuel card and power tools.
Employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week, plus out of hours) 8.00 - 4.30pm.
Additional earnings: £120 guaranteed weekly on‑call payment, paid whether you’re called out or not. Operates on a rota basis with opportunities for additional hours.

Scope of Work
Our client is recruiting 3 Multi‑Skilled Operatives to deliver top‑quality repairs and maintenance across homes. You should specialise in one core trade (Plumbing, Carpentry, or Plastering) and be highly competent in a second trade. Additionally, you must be able to undertake at least two further trades (Bricklaying, Painting & Decorating, and Groundwork/Fencing) to a good standard.
Responsibilities
- You will receive work orders through your PDA and be expected to identify the right and cost‑effective solution to problems, ensuring the repairs are completed to a good standard with minimal inconvenience to the customer.
- You will liaise with the Planner in the office to organise jobs and maximise your working time.
- You will work in accordance with our policies and procedures relating to safe working in customers’ homes and public areas.
- You will provide out of hours support on a rotational basis.
- You will follow the processes required when undertaking all work.
Requirements
- You will be able to fault‑find and accurately diagnose the repairs needed; decide the most efficient and effective value for money and arrange materials where needed.
- You will have a City and Guilds in a relevant skill or equivalent.
- You must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- You must be competent in using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work.
- You must hold a Full driving licence for use in the UK.
