We’re looking for an experienced domiciliary care manager to join Thrive in a Registered Manager job-share role

Ideally, you’ll have experience at Registered Manager level and a strong understanding of what it takes to lead a team and deliver high-quality care and support at home. You’ll be joining a growing organisation where relationships matter and your ideas and experience can make a real difference.

What makes Thrive different?

We take time to understand each person’s story, interests and aspirations. Every person we support has a dedicated Wellbeing Specialist and an individual Care & Wellbeing Plan. We carefully match our carers - known as Health & Wellbeing Associates - to build trusted, lasting relationships.

That might mean helping someone regain confidence to go out, reconnect with a favourite interest or enjoy the comfort of familiar company. Safe, reliable care provides the foundation; helping people live well gives our work its purpose.

Our focus on wellbeing extends to our colleagues. We have a warm, collaborative culture, with space for honest conversations, personal development and new ideas.

Your role

Working alongside our existing Registered Manager, and with support from our Director of Care and wider leadership team, you’ll help lead a safe, responsive and well-run service.

You’ll combine sound professional judgement with a practical approach, supporting colleagues and keeping the experience of the people we care for at the centre of decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and CQC compliance.
  • Overseeing assessments, care planning, risk management and reviews.
  • Supporting recruitment, induction, supervision and staff development.
  • Working with our community and wellbeing colleagues to deliver consistent, personalised support.
  • Building trusting relationships with clients, families and professionals. Working with our Marketing Manager to build local relationships, develop referral opportunities and grow the service while protecting the quality and personal approach that make Thrive distinctive.
  • Monitoring quality, learning from feedback and making improvements.
  • Helping us welcome new clients at a pace that protects quality and continuity.
  • Providing on-call support on alternate weekends, responding to urgent concerns and coordinating cover when needed.
  • Helping, with the team, to build up our brand in the community and grow the business.

The jobshare will depend on clear communication, effective handovers and agreed responsibilities, so colleagues and families experience consistent leadership throughout the week.

About you

You’ll be an experienced care manager who brings warmth, clarity and confidence to their work. You’ll enjoy developing people, solving problems and staying close to the day-to-day realities of homecare.

We’re looking for:

  • Management experience in domiciliary care, ideally as a Registered Manager.
  • A strong working knowledge of CQC expectations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
  • A relevant Level 5 leadership qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
  • The experience and suitability to apply for CQC registration.
  • Good organisational skills and a calm approach when priorities change.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to make a jobshare work well.
  • A belief that companionship, independence and emotional wellbeing are essential parts of good care.
  • The ability to travel across our East Kent service area.

What you can expect

  • A meaningful leadership role over three working days per week.
  • A jobshare partnership with support from an involved leadership team.
  • The opportunity to influence how a growing care and wellbeing organisation develops.
  • A supportive culture that values your wellbeing alongside your professional contribution.
  • Ongoing learning and development.

Join us

If you share our belief that good care should help people thrive, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and right-to-work checks.
