Refuse Loader in Willenhall

Thrive Group Oldham are seeking a Refuse Loader to work for the local authority in and around the Tameside area.

Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour after 12 weeks £13.56

Hours: 7.00am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday (Bank holidays included)

Location: Tameside

Purpose of the job

You will be required to provide, in a safe and effective manner, quality and efficient Refuse Collection Service including all recycling collection activities, in all weather conditions.

Your duties will include

• Removing waste, wheelie bins and recycling bins and boxes.
• Using a lifting mechanism to tip the waste from bins into the lorry (training day will be provided).
• Working quickly and cleanly.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able people to join our team of hard-working refuse and recyclables operatives in the Oldham area.
• Punctual, flexible and reliable.
• Polite and professional with the general public.
• Able to lift heavy loads.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Full PPE to be worn at all times.
