Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Chippenham area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
- Fabricate and assembly of components as well as cutting, drilling, grinding and preparation of materials prior to welding
- Meeting deadlines and targets whilst working to a high standard
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous MIG welding experience essential including using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/MMA)
- Ability to use electrical and manual tools
- Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
- Well-organised approach and an eye for detail
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills
- NVQ Level 3 or time served
