Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Calne who are actively looking to recruit a Press Brake Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- As an experienced Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up, programme, and operate CNC press brake machines
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Ensure accuracy and quality of finished components
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., callipers, gauges)
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven experience operating CNC press brakes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes
What you will receive in return:
- £28,392.00 per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 07.30AM to 16.30PM, Friday 07.30AM to 12.30PM
