Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruit an Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality.
- Working from technical drawings to assemble complete units.
- Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessary.
- Ensuring components are clean and ready for despatch.
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential.
- A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Hydraulics, pneumatics and diagnostics experience beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Level 3 or equivalent.
