hrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our established and market leading client near Chippenham who urgently require a Technical Sales Advisor to join their busy team. In this key role, you will be responsible for generating sales revenue for the business, duties will include the following:

  • First point of contact for both new and existing customers
  • Dealing with enquiries, gaining an understanding of client's requirements to prepare quotations
  • Responding promptly to inbound enquiries (email, web, and phone) with advice, pricing and technical information
  • Developing relationships with existing customers across a diverse product portfolio
  • Researching, identifying and contacting new clients
  • Offering new product advice / updating clients on promotions
  • Following up on quotations, updating the CRM system / sales pipeline
  • Liaison with a number of departments to ensure accurate order processing and delivery timelines

What you will need to succeed:

  • Background in customer service, sales or technical support within engineering or manufacturing essential
  • Qualification in engineering beneficial although not essential
  • Experience with a technical product range / technical terminology
  • First rate communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to take ownership
