Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Somerset who are actively looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join the company initially on a 6 month contract, with a view to this going on to a permanent position.

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of operational performance while developing team leadership experience.
  • The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of our clients 3PL partner, oversee on-site warehouse and packaging activities, and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely order fulfilment across all channels.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a management role within warehouse/logistics; 3PL experience would be beneficial although not essential (currently outsourced).
  • Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational targets.
  • Experience working within EU markets beneficial.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong commercial acumen; experience of scaling up within an SME also beneficial.
  • ERP systems experience essential, ideally NetSuite; however, SAP or Dynamics would also be acceptable.
